We are looking for a versatile and proactive Marketing Executive to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow a new department that is constantly evolving. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing on a wide range of marketing activities, with opportunities to influence new efficiencies and solutions, including the integration of AI tools and processes. There are opportunities to develop skills in content creation, social media, sales support, inbound campaigns, and events.
As we expand into new global territories, this role will also involve international marketing efforts. The position offers flexibility and could be full-time or part-time, depending on your experience. Whether you’re an experienced marketer seeking part-time work or more junior and looking for a full-time role, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy:
- Support Content Development: Help create various types of content, including videos, blogs, datasheets, ebooks, and web pages to support our content strategy.
- Copywriting & Briefing Design: Write and edit copy for multiple channels and collaborate with external designers to ensure all materials align with our brand.
- Website & SEO: Assist in updating website content, creating landing pages, and optimising for SEO to boost online visibility.
Social Media Management:
- LinkedIn Management: Help plan, create, and schedule content for our LinkedIn page, focusing on increasing engagement and growing our audience.
- Content Calendar: Maintain a social media content calendar, track engagement metrics, and provide insights on performance improvements.
Sales Enablement & Outbound Support:
- Outbound Campaigns: Assist in developing email sequences and sales collateral to support outbound marketing efforts in collaboration with the sales team.
- Sales Materials: Help develop presentation decks, datasheets, and case studies to support customer engagement and sales efforts.
Event Support:
- Event Coordination: Assist in organising virtual and in-person events globally, managing logistics and event communications.
- Event Promotion: Help create event registration pages, invitations, and follow-up communications.
Inbound Marketing & Campaigns:
- Landing Pages & Ads: Work with agencies to create landing pages, run paid ad campaigns, and support inbound marketing initiatives to generate leads.
- Lead Nurturing: Help manage campaigns and lead nurturing using tools like HubSpot.
Partnerships & Vendor Management:
- MDF Utilisation: Assist in working with partners to secure Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to support joint marketing initiatives.
- Budget Support: Learn to work within budget guidelines and assist with vendor and partner management.
Essential Skills
- Essential B2B Marketing Experience: 1-3 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the tech or IT space (AWS experience is a plus but not essential).
- Content Creation: Experience in writing and editing content for different formats (blogs, social posts, case studies, etc.).
- Social Media Knowledge: Familiarity with LinkedIn and an understanding of basic engagement strategies.
- Sales Support & Outbound Campaigns: Some exposure to supporting sales teams with marketing assets and outbound campaigns is desirable.
- Event Planning: While direct experience in managing events is not essential, an interest in learning how to organise and promote virtual and in-person events is a plus.
- HubSpot: Experience with HubSpot or similar platforms would be advantageous.
- Collaborative & Eager to Learn: You’re a self-starter who’s keen to grow, take on new challenges, and work across different marketing areas in a fast-paced but fun environment.
Desirables
- You’ll have at least 1-3 years of B2B marketing experience and are looking to grow your skills across a wide range of activities.
- You’re detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- You’re proactive, curious, and excited to learn new skills, including event management, inbound marketing, and sales enablement.
- You’re looking for a role with flexible working options, whether that’s full-time or part-time, and you can commit to working from our Marlow office at least one day a week (Monday essential).
