The ideal candidate is responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations, budget compilation, and back-up to the accounts payable function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly billing reconciliations for UK and overseas entities
- Assist with P&L and B/S month end accounting for UK and overseas entities
- Post relevant journals (prepayments/accruals/accrued income/etc)
- Manage Fixed Asset Register and liaise with IT team
- Management of Expense and Payables Tool Spendesk
- Payables Management (PO process) & Billing Partner Reconciliations
- Automate manual processes to improve efficiency
- Development of internal accounting/finance processes
- Assist with ad-hoc finance related tasks
- Departments/business units reporting & tracking categories
- Cashflow reporting on UK and overseas entities
Skills:
- Knowledge of current accounting standards
- Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- Xero experience (or similar accounting software)
- Attention to detail with ability to work to a high level of accuracy
- Ability to communicate with other internal departments
- Previous experience working in practice or industry (preferably 3+ years experience)
Salary: up to £35k depending on experience
