Our client is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team on a 9-month contract basis. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, proactivity, and a collaborative mindset. Working as part of a cross-functional Agile team, you will help design, build, and optimise Cloud-native solutions on AWS to support rapid application delivery and platform stability. This position is open to candidates residing anywhere within the European Union.

Key Skills & Experience – AWS Cloud, DevOps, Automation
  • Strong focus on AWS public cloud environments.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS-native solutions.
  • Expert-level skills in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar).
  • Knowledgeable in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Confident working within Agile delivery teams and using collaboration tools such as JIRA.
  • Exposure to serverless AWS architectures (Lambda functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
