Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

2/3 days per week in Croydon

Up to £55k per annum

Our client, a leader in healthcare and Beauty sector is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take a leading role in driving their core infrastructure forwards across Cloud, Security and Networking.

  • 5+ years’ experience in mixed cloud and on-prem environments.

  • Strong senior-level experience in 3rd line infrastructure support with clear platform ownership.

  • Deep Microsoft ecosystem expertise across Entra ID, Microsoft 365 security, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Defender, JAMF.

  • Solid hands-on background in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP.

  • Strong networking knowledge including routing, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi (Aruba experience desirable).

  • Proven capability managing Azure infrastructure and governance (AWS exposure beneficial).

  • Experience administering next-generation firewalls, segmentation, and secure multi-site environments.

  • Working knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, resilience, and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).

  • Practical automation skills using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and modern tooling.

  • A proactive, security-first mindset aligned with Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001 principles, GDPR.

  • Relevant certifications desirable (AZ-104, SC-300, security/networking qualifications), but experience matters most
