Senior Solutions Architect – AWS Migration (Contract)

3-6 month contract
Location: Remote in Philippines with Australia time zone alignment

Up to 17,500 PHP per day

Cloud Bridge Technology Recruitment is supporting a customer undertaking a full Azure-to-AWS migration. We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect contractor who can lead both the AWS MAP Assess technical design and the end-to-end migration delivery through Mobilise and Migrate.

This role requires someone equally comfortable in discovery and design as they are leading hands-on execution.

Role Overview

You will lead technical discovery, define a credible migration strategy and architecture, and then take ownership of execution across migration waves. You will work closely with customer stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure a successful, well-governed migration to AWS.

Key Skills & Experience

Cloud & Migration

• Strong AWS architecture experience (landing zones, security, networking, IAM)

• Solid understanding of Azure services (VMs, App Services, databases, networking, identity) and their AWS equivalents

• Hands-on experience with AWS migration tooling (MGN, DMS, Migration Hub)

• Working knowledge of the AWS MAP framework and evidence requirements

Engineering Capability

• Ability to configure or guide the build of AWS landing zones

• Set up and operate migration tooling, replication and connectivity

• Troubleshoot issues across Azure, AWS, networking and identity

• Basic scripting skills for automation or validation

Delivery & Stakeholder Skills

• Lead discovery workshops and technical design sessions

• Produce clear documentation, runbooks, wave plans and cut-over steps

• Manage risks, dependencies and progress reporting

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
